Tidy up

Isn't it amazing how much crap accumulates behind the shed??

Saturday was very wet.

 

 Some items were merely relocated.

 After the rain stopped tidying up began in earnest.
Three trailers were filled to capacity for delivery to the landfill.
 Well done those blokes.

Pattern Saturday

Gloomy windy day did not deter pattern enthusiasts.

 Hmmmm, not many about.
Oh yeah, it's lunchtime.

Judges hoping it will be better tomorrow.

More work done

New Start-up areas.

 Shelter roofing

An excellent shelter.

Some working bees.

There have been a few working bees lately.

 Fences removed at ends of runway and replaced with electric fences to allow extra useable length for large or fast models with accurate-aiming pilots.

Puddle removal operations.

Taxi-way work and pilot-box upgrades.

Removing pits weed.

  These will be foundations for shelter over pit area.

 Taxi-way beautification and the oblong puddles will be concrete starting pads.

Sunday after wet week

Oooops!

The drain is looking kinda blocked

Of course after the amount of rain we've had in the past few days it really is hardly surprising. The further 'pond' has drained OK.

August Update

Recent rains have meant that drainage was needed as in this pic.

Subsequently, drain has been installed.

Brian is seen here filling in.

We received a donation of a used 3 phase generator from COATES HIRE.
The pump shed has been extended to accomodate it.
Plenty of power now!
